Here is my husband holding some of the bunnies. Aren't they CUTE!!! I love to hold them and want to snuggle them up to my face. Being wild and not knowing how safe it might be, I restrain myself from nuzzling, but love to hold them. I limit myself to checking on them only twice a day.
They're about twice the size they were when we found them last week. Their little eyes were still closed and their tiny ears were flat against their head and just little round ears. Now they are longer and stand up. They still seem to prefer being in their nest. If we sit one down on the ground, he tries to burrow into the grass, or , if he's close enough to the nest, he gets right back in.
Did I mention that they are just SO CUTE!!!!

Yes, they are very cute...But why do they insist on eating my flowers!!! Argghhhh!!!!
They are so adorable! I was hoping you'd post pics of them and you did. Yay!
They are so cute! I have never seen baby bunnies before. I'm sure it takes great restraint to keep from nuzzling them. ;-)
I'm so glad you're blogging, Kathleen! :-)
Hi Kathleen,
Thee bunnies and nest look exactly like the little guys who decided to nest in my vegetable garden. Thankfully, I found the nest while weeding and before dh tilled the garden. They are precious, and I'm glad your blogging and posted the pictures.
I agree with Amy, "cute but why do they eat my flowers?" Last year they ate my echinaceas right before they bloomed. Arrggghhh.....
See you in the blogosphere!
Dana
aw, that is so adorable :)
I've raised rabbits a lot, but haven't seen baby bunnies in the wild. Don't they grow fast?!
