Here are the bunnies in their nest. The momma covers is over with bunny fur and grass. We cover them back up with the blankie she makes when we're done looking at them and holding them.
Here is my husband holding some of the bunnies. Aren't they CUTE!!! I love to hold them and want to snuggle them up to my face. Being wild and not knowing how safe it might be, I restrain myself from nuzzling, but love to hold them. I limit myself to checking on them only twice a day.
They're about twice the size they were when we found them last week. Their little eyes were still closed and their tiny ears were flat against their head and just little round ears. Now they are longer and stand up. They still seem to prefer being in their nest. If we sit one down on the ground, he tries to burrow into the grass, or , if he's close enough to the nest, he gets right back in.
Did I mention that they are just SO CUTE!!!!
